Someone tell me what this is?

I found it in the Crafts Museum. It's about five feet tall, I think.

  1. Looks like Saanjhi. In northern part of India, there's tradition of making a 'Saanjhi'.

  2. It is not Sanjhi. It is a story telling panel, found in Haryana Rajasthan region. Best place to see them Uruswati Museum.

    If there is a specific name you found out, do let us know.

  3. After some help from friends in Rajasthan, I figured this one. It's a clay votive from Molela, the potters village near Udaipur. Sold to tribal people, with motifs and stories related to tribal legends and gods.
